Investing in a solar system is a significant investment and, like any other major Investment, it’s important to keep a system maintained and clean. All too often, solar systems are forgotten about; out of sight out of mind, and when left unserviced, the power production drops.
SBR created a maintenance and cleaning division to support both its roofing and solar power companies. Both need to be maintained and cleaned, for maximum efficiencies, so it was a natural evolution to create PV Power Wash.
PV Power Wash provides the following maintenance and services for solar systems:
- Solar PV Module Cleaning (low PSI cleaning with biodegradable cleaning products)
- Solar Thermal Collector Cleaning
- Inspect flashings and sealants at roof penetrations
- Check all roof-top electrical connections
- Tighten any solar module mounting hardware if loosened
